WHAT WE BELIEVE

- We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God which brings clarity to our lives (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21, Psalms 119:105).
- We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4).
- We believe in monotheism (one God). We believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all one. God was manifest in the flesh, born of the Virgin Mary. In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is the beginning of the creation of God, the firstborn of every creature; the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, the visible image of the unseen God, both in heaven and on earth (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 1:23, James 2:19, I Timothy 1:17, John 1:1, 10, 14, Colossians 1:15; 2:9, John 14:5-9, Isaiah 63:16, John 10:27-30, I John 5:7, I Timothy 3:16, Revelation 3:14; 13:8).
- We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8).
- We believe that obedience to the gospel is through repentance from sin, baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and that one must receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:38).
- We believe that all men are lost outside the plan of salvation (Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
- We believe that one day the Lord will return to catch away (to rapture) the church (I Thessalonians 4:13-17, I Corinthians 15:51-55, I John 3:2).
- We believe in observing the Lord's supper and feet washing service as a memorial (I Corinthians 11:23-27, John 13:1-17).
- We believe that every believer is to live a life of Christian example and holiness (John 15:1-6, Galatians 5:22-23, Hebrews 12:14, Romans 12:1-2, II Corinthians 6:17, I John 2:15).
- We believe in the nine Gifts of the Spirit being operative in the church (I Corinthians 12:7-11).
- We believe in the God-given ministries of the church (Ephesians 4:11, I Timothy 3:1-12, I Corinthians 12:28).
- We believe that tithing is God's financial plan for His work (Genesis 14:20; Genesis 28:20; Genesis 28:22; Leviticus 27:30; Leviticus 27:32; Deuteronomy 12:6; Deuteronomy 14:22; Deuteronomy 14:28-29; Amos 4:4; Malachi 3:8-10; Hebrews 7:5; Luke 6:38).
