It is with earthly sorrow but heavenly joy that we remember Sister Victoria Thomas, a faithful servant of God and one of the foundational pillars of Lighthouse Tabernacle Apostolic.
Sister Victoria transferred to our ministry in 2014 from BUC of Montreal, with the blessing of her then intern Pastor, Rev. Beresford Galespie. She was present for our very first service on Sunday, May 4, 2014, and played an integral role in our early days. On Saturday, May 2, 2015, during our first anniversary celebration, she became the first appointed minister of Lighthouse — a testament to her dedication, humility, and deep love for the Lord. She also served faithfully on our Board of Directors, offering wisdom and guidance that helped shape the direction of our ministry in its formative years. As a worship leader, Sister Victoria ushered many into the presence of God through her anointed singing, heartfelt devotion, and fervent prayers. Beyond the platform, she worked diligently behind the scenes — helping to organize our first-ever church banquet in October 2014, which was a tremendous success. Sister Victoria was truly instrumental in the early days of Lighthouse, laying a strong foundation of holiness through prayer, service, and unwavering faith. Although she returned to her home church in 2016, we remain deeply grateful to God for the time, love, and labor she invested into our ministry. Though she has now entered her eternal reward, her impact continues — a lasting testimony of faithfulness, love, and devotion to the Kingdom of God.

Today, we celebrate a remarkable woman of faith and strength, Mother Carmen Dryden, on her 90th birthday!
When Lighthouse Tabernacle first began, Mother Dryden graciously opened her doors and allowed us to use her facility for our very first month of services. Though our time there was short, it was divinely orchestrated by God to position us for the greater things He had in store. What seemed like a closed door was truly the Lord’s way of establishing us into the church family we are today. Mother Dryden, your willingness, kindness, and obedience to the Lord’s leading made you a part of our story and foundation. For that, we honor you and thank God for your life. Ninety years is a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness, and we pray that this milestone birthday is filled with joy, love, and abundant blessings. From all of us at Lighthouse Tabernacle Apostolic Church, Happy Birthday, Mother Dryden! You are deeply appreciated. Lighthouse Impact Award
