Pastor Stephen Hogan is the Lead Pastor and Founder of Lighthouse. Stephen Hogan was born to the late Isabel Turley Hogan and the late Harold Raymond Hogan in 1981. At the age of two, his father died, and it was left to his mother to raise him. When it came time for Stephen to start school throughout his years in elementary, he struggled academically due to the loss of his father.
At the age of twelve, Stephen was sent to a specialized school to help him succeed; however, Stephen made friends with people who were negative influences. However, God's hand was upon his life, and at the age of thirteen (1994), Stephen was baptized in Jesus' name and received the Holy Ghost. From that point forward he was faithful to the work of the Lord.
In 1999 Stephen dropped out of high school due to his academic struggles. It was also in 1999 when he had a vision from the Lord and was called to preach the Gospel. His passion for reaching people and for succeeding from that moment on grew daily. The calling of God was confirmed upon His life many times over the years, and he became active in the preaching and teaching ministry.
In 2001, Stephen returned to adult education and completed his high school studies in June of 2004. In September of 2004, he enrolled in Special Care Counseling and completed his D.E.C at Vanier College in 2011. Stephen has worked with children, youth, and seniors, and with each experience, his desire to help people grows deeper and deeper.
In 2005, Stephen enrolled in the Québec Pentecostal Bible College and completed the two-year program to obtain his first ministerial certificate. In 2010, Stephen returned to Bible college (Purpose Institute) and completed four additional years of study to receive two more ministerial degrees (diploma of associate in ministerial studies and bachelors in ministerial studies).
On January 1, 2011, Stephen was instructed by the Lord to start Lighthouse Tabernacle Apostolic. After three years of planning and evangelizing the first official service was held on May 4, 2014, and on August 30, 2014, the ministry was officially blessed, and Pastor Hogan was formally ordained as a pastor by Pastor Carmen Hamilton.
As of March 16, 2023, Pastor Stephen Hogan became license minister of the United Pentecostal Church International thus officially listing Lighthouse as an official church of the above mentioned organization. Pastor Hogan is working under the Quebec District.
Pastor Stephen Hogan is a true man of God. God has called him to a peculiar ministry. His unique gift for reaching out to people is just one of the many qualities that God has used to build his ministry. His devotion to the work of God reflects his willingness to respond to God's call. His passion and desire is to teach the Word of God and to share the love of God with people.
